Sup yo? If you’re unaware, I’m doing a blog per day leading up to WrestleMania where I talk about my personal favorite 20 Mania moments of all time. Keep in mind I’m 18, so a lot of my picks will be on the more recent side.

17. Edge Spears Mick Foley Through A Flaming Table

OH MY GAAAAHHHHHHHDDDD!

I don’t have a long backstory or explanation behind this one, because it clearly speaks for itself. Edge vs Mick Foley at WrestleMania 22 is one of the best hardcore matches ever, culminating in possibly the wildest finish of all time. We see Big E hit the spear through the ropes every few weeks on RAW and my Twitter timeline always gets flooded with “He’s gotta stop doing that! That’s too dangerous, he’s gonna get hurt bad!” and I agree.

Now, factor in a table that is on fire. Like, a table…that is on fire. Not only is Mick Foley taking that bump off the apron without looking back, Edge is jumping face first into fire. This world gets thrown around a ton here, but it’s the only one to describe the whole situation…
